And yet another field trip...

Remember how I *heart* field trips? With Jack in school now, that makes for 3 AWESOME field trips I get to go on...I'm a lucky girl.

We were off to the farm at Thanksgiving Point.

Jack loved this field trip...he said to me at least 4 times "mom, I'm having so much fun". This makes the field trip SO worth it! Even with the stinky bus, the smelly farm animals, the tractor ride through a parking lot of construction, and the giddy/wild/super energetic Kindergartners.
Love this boy of mine!

Midway Getaway...

We had us a fun-filled weekend with great friends. The boys golfed, the girls shopped, and we talked & laughed until the wee hours of the morning (some of us anyway). We took too few pictures...had we documented the shopping, it was FABULOUS, and the entire trunk was full of bags...we made some great deals. And had we documented the golfing...there would be amazing shots, chips, and puts (according to the boys).

Here's what we did document...dinner at the Homestead.

And the best part of the evening was leaving our cell phones behind. We wanted zero distractions, just good conversations...and it was so funny to realize how many times we each reached in our pockets or purses for our phones. They are great to have, but a little addicting. (Thanks for the idea Craig).

And the "early birds"...who wake at 5am everyday, decided to steal my camera while the rest of us slept for 4 more hours, and have some fun of their own. Dorks...gotta love them!

We celebrated Gentry's birthday with presents and breakfast.

A perfect weekend! I could do this EVERY weekend!

Swiss Days/Labor Day Weekend!

I was so excited to hit Swiss Day's this year (I took a leave of absence last year with my family in Arizona). So I was ready for some SERIOUS shopping.

This year we invited some family members to going our fun...we started out with some dinner at Cafe Rio.

Then hit the outlets in Park City...

And finally made it to Midway, where we ate too much cookie dough, and stayed up late laughing too hard!

Bright & early the next morning we were up and ready to hit the road.
This picture is a 'tradition'...

After shopping all morning, we were ready for lunch at the Homestead.

And a quick look in the crater.

And a couple hours later...our families arrived. So we grabbed dinner, and headed to the park.

The next day we ventured into Park City for some dinner and the Alpine Coaster...good stuff!

A great weekend to be with family. We had a blast...and next year MOM & DAD will be here with us!! Yay!!
