4th of July Weekend Fun...

I LOVE the 4 the of July...probably my favorite holiday. Parades, BBQ's, carnivals, fire works, friends, & family...what more can you ask for? We partied all weekend long...and had a blast!

Started with the Riverton parade. We've gotten smart with our seating arrangements. We saved seats at the park, in the shade...it was perfect!

After the parade...some Golden Spoon, perfect way to end the evening!

The next morning we participated in some new Riverton fun...Dive for Dollars. It was a blast! The kids dove for change in age groups...and the kids ended up with about $3.00 each. Paige also competed in the cannon ball competition...she was a runner up, did awesome!

The awesome judges for the cannon ball competition!

Then we packed up and headed to Midway to meet my siblings for more fun. The fun started at our favorite Mexican restaurant...yum!

We continued the partying at the park...

Next day we did some swimming...

Some lounging without shirts on...

And finished the night of with some super RAD sparklers and 'pops'. Which were the highlight...wish we had pictures of us trying to injure each other by throwing those poppers at each others feet, it doesn't feel good people!

We left Monday morning...and hit a movie. Kung Fu Panda 2, very cute!

And Cafe Rio for dinner...not your typical 4th of July dinner, but it worked for us!!

Then we launched some of our own fireworks...but the kids liked the parachutes best. And the new legal aerial fireworks are AWESOME. We had a great view from our driveway...so thank you neighbors I don't know, for all of your money spent for me!

A wonderful weekend...and next year, mom and dad will be home to celebrate, YAY!!

Holy Shizam...you take a plethora of photos, don't you?! I know how much you love your pictures, and they were ALL wonderful! I'm so glad you had a great 4th of July weekend-- you deserve it! Looks like you fit everything in, except maybe learning the Canadian National Anthem! Perhaps by next July you'll have it nailed?!?
